OUR STORY
My name is Matthew Provencher, though most people know me as “Boh”. I absolutely love disc golf! I know, you’re thinking what is disc golf right? I’ll tell you a bit about it.
Disc golf is played the same way as “ball golf”, but instead of hitting a ball with a club you’re throwing a disc, and instead of aiming at a hole in the ground you’re throwing at a metal target with chains hanging down. The objective is to get the disc to the target in as few throws as possible. The fun part of disc golf is most of the courses are not traditional in the sense of a “ball golf” course. Instead they utilize tight wooded paths as fairways, throwing around trees and obstacles, and often are installed in regularly unused pieces of property.
On the Eastern Shore we don’t have access to very many disc golf courses… That’s where Off Course Disc Golf will play a vital role. My goal is to introduce people in the community to disc golf by setting up disc golf courses and teaching people the basics of how to play disc golf. Private Parties, Company Picnics, Backyard Weddings, Family Gatherings, School Events, you name it and we can build a disc golf course for your next big event. As long as we have legal permission from the property owner of course.

Disc golf is an ADVENTURE FOR EVERYONE
The most amazing thing about disc golf is anybody can play! It doesn’t matter what age you are, where you come from, what your occupation is, disc golfers are not easy to stereotype in that regard. You’ll meet some of the most amazing people through playing disc golf as well. It’s truly a community sport.
TEAM LEADERs
Disc golf is something that has not only taught me a lot about myself, but also brought a great deal of satisfaction and happiness into my life. I discovered disc golf through a good friend of mine years ago, and I was absolutely terrible. So much so that I became obsessed with getting better at playing disc golf. Over the years I’ve played quite a few tournaments all over Maryland and Delaware. I threw my first ace in a sanctioned tournament, that is one of my favorite disc golf memories still to this day. One of the best parts about disc golf is meeting some great friends and amazing people along the way.
